I really try to make the process as simple and easy for a seller as possible. Especially in this market, Sellers feel like they are constantly making concessions. I want to be honest and up front about a good strategy for marketing and selling their property in a timely manner. When I am listing a short sale, I follow the same guidelines, but also really try to educate the seller’s about the process, their bank and what to expect. Every transaction is different, but there are a lot of really serious things to be aware of when dealing with a default on a mortgage or a mortgage that is being settled for less. I work very closely with attorneys to make sure that the client is always protected and knowledgeable about the transaction.
